The recently announced album MARS STUDIO – The First Session by Les Rallizes Dénudés has been cancelled. If you pre-ordered the album in any format from Bandcamp we will issue a full refund in the coming days.

After the announcement of the album, The Last One Musique discovered that there were flaws in how the release was prepared, namely concerning the provenance of the source audio used for the master. What was believed to be a studio recording from Mars Studio, corroborated by ex-members and others close to the band, was in fact a very clean board recording from a set played at YaneUra, several weeks before the show released earlier this year as YaneUra Oct. ’80. This material will be reconfigured and repackaged as another album, details of which will be announced soon.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work with The Last One Musique to get this all sorted out. It is extremely important that all of our releases live up to the highest standards. And of course, all Rallizes fans deserve to have this incredible music presented in the best way possible.
